The hills of East Tennessee are alive with a new sound. It is the spiritual sound of Angels wings…..It will be a sound of hope for many
hurting people….
In Knoxville, Tennessee a spiritual visual is materializing, passionately and prayerfully being created for the world to experience. We will be
the witnesses of one of the greatest miracles on earth. The miracle: forgiveness in the heart of (a) man.
Coming soon, is an amazing film. Light, Streets of Redemption….
Who is the man behind this amazing mission? His name is Bob Denney.
He is not just a producer, writer and director he is a man of great conviction. “My passion is to create Christian productions that will
effectively penetrate this generation with the real truth of the Gospel,” declares Denney “I really feel this is a product that has been missing.”
Denney who is definitely not in the category of being one who is ‘too heavenly minded, with no earthly good,’ has the experience and
education to back-up the quality of his work.
He is a graduate of Antonelli Art Academy in Cincinnati, with a degree in Commercial Art. This local talent isn’t a novice, and the film is not
his only media project. He is the owner of DDxmedia, a broadcast production company, production manager of a Christian Television
Network as well as, producer of 14 television shows, two nationally, one international, two films and a children’s show that just won an AEGIS
Award for outstanding production.
However, Denney says Lights, Streets of Redemption is an extraordinary project for him and is considered a
‘large scale’ movie in the industry under the small production budget of just $11,000 U.S. dollars, which
according to him is considered “unheard of for a full feature film”.
There are several other exciting productions that are accompanying the movie: a comic book series, a
soundtrack and special music videos from several music artists. The Comic Book series is being illustrated
by Larry Mowry of ‘Black Sheep Studios’.
While working as the Production Manager of local Christian Television Station WVLR Channel 48, Denney
is also co-host of one of the station’s most exciting shows: a Christian Video program called ‘BloodstreamTV.’
“BloodstreamTV is a powerful tool that God is using to reach the younger generation,” says Denney.
Recently, he produced and débuted two videos
on the Bloodstream TV program that will be used in the film.
“We have created two videos starring local Christian Music Artists ‘Bone Prophet’ and ‘Millinum Diciple.’ A third video features nationally
acclaimed artist Pettidee, and will release nationally this summer. It’s a rock genre track featuring guitar breakouts from Eddie Moles of Bone
Prophet. The video features clips from the movie.
Although most of the primary filming of the movie took place in Knoxville, Sevierville, and surrounding East Tennessee areas, he stated that
the production started in Jacksonville, Florida, a place where he lived for 9 years prior to moving to East Tennessee.
“We also want the public to know that we will be revealing the film by way of a local Knoxville, TN. Premier, an event to include an
appreciation concert”, with the announcement to be made “very soon”.
In addition to a local screening, Denney states that he is proud to announce that the film will premier “across the pond” this summer at the
London International Christian Film Festival.
Just to wet your appetite a little more, the plot is truly one of great intensity. It’s about a young man who thought he had everything, until
tragedy strikes,” shares Denney.
His life seemed picture perfect, with every piece of the puzzle of life in place. Then he loses the love of his life.”
The main character Jonathan Crane (played by Justin Allen) was serving God with a passion as an ‘on fire for God’ Youth Pastor, reaching
out to youth on the streets. Then in his anger and grief he finds himself wanting to seek revenge on the perpetrators who brought tragedy
into his life. He turns away from his faith, consumed with an angry plan….then God intervenes and sends…Help from on high!
Just be listening for the sound of a warrior and Angels wings…….
They may be coming to a theatre near you.
